I vividly remember two things about my first semester at college. The first, was being insanely confident I wanted to be a writer. The second was watching a movie in a class that had such an impact on me, it made me forget the fact I ever wanted to become a writer. Movies, up until that point, had always been very forgettable to me – ones you immediately forget about when you leave the theater. Movies with familiar characters you’ve seen before, and plots that always seemed to follow a previously created template. This movie, however, blew everything out of the water. I’ve never felt anger, sadness, confusion and happiness all at the same time towards one character. It made me feel so many things at once, and I loved it. And just like that, writing was a thing of the past.

In the years since, I’ve started my own photography company and I’m working as a freelance video. My work is fueled by my desire to make people feel a certain way when they look at the finished product. In addition to making my clients happy, I want to produce a product that I’m proud of as well. I’ve been hired to photograph multiple weddings, family events, and professional headshots, while also editing video for many businesses throughout Virginia. I’m constantly learning more about marketing everyday, both by growing my own business and expertise in my free time, and through my work at a local studio. I’m extremely hard-working, and more importantly, passionate about this work. I hope to expand my company, and continue to grow as an artist. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m dedicated to this career path and I’m excited to work with you in the future!
